If you are on a Mac I have heard of a tool that you can install and use called Xtrace. Not sure on Windows but keep searching. If you find a good solutions please come back and post it for use.

Thanks, love it.

Question: how can I set things up to view "trace" statements somewhere? I tried using the command "debug" in the AS3 bundle, but it just says there is no flashlog.txt file.

If I could just view trace statements, I can avoid the FlexBulider entirely.
